When arrested in Harford County, detainees are brough to the IPC (Interagency Processing Center). Once processed the defendant will go in front of the commissioner located adjacant to the IPC center and bail will be set. At that point the detainee will either be released on his or her own recognizance or will have to either await trial or post bail. Once Bail is posted release times are usually fairly quick in the Harford County Detention Facilities and the detainee will be released shortly after Bail is posted. The Bondsman has no control over release times once the bail has been posted.
